I had a great experience with Ricky & Davie @ CaliBreeze. Their customer communications were excellent - sending multiple appointment reminders & opportunities to reschedule, if necessary. On every visit they were on-time. They worked with me to detect an intermittent HVAC condensation overflow leak in the attic, repaired the leak, & subsequently installed a missing secondary safety pan with safety switch to prevent future overflow leaks from reaching the ceiling. He showed up on time, sent text reminders and notifications in advance, and was very professional throughout the entire process. I especially appreciated that he did not make a mountain out of a molehill when there was a malfunction with the system. Seriously cannot recommend Cali Breeze AC & Ricky enough!! We called them last week and they were able to come out SAME DAY to Encinitas, figure out what was going on, get everything we needed ordered and covered under warranty, and had us back up and cooling within 48 hours. They were so easy to work with, communicated with us the whole way through, and were super honest about what we actually needed. No crazy upselling or trying to tack things on — which we really appreciated. They even checked our filters while they were there just to make sure everything else looked good. Just an all-around great experience and a really good local company. It’s hard to find people you actually trust with this stuff, and we’ll 100% be calling them again if we ever need anything. Since we moved to the area, we did not know a good AC/heating company. I found Cali Breeze online as a) being near me and b) having all 5-star reviews. They did not disappoint. They came out quickly. Pricing was fair, they were friendly, and Ricky was very thorough. And the follow-up was great also, with lots of pictures from the air handler (up in the attic where I never go) and the AC units outside. The also did not try to upsell me on things I did not need. Excellent experience! [update] we had a leaky gasket that was causing water to drip from attic to our ceiling. Ricky found and fixed the problem very quickly and expertly.
